A dumbbell carries its weight like a secret; this ball carries its openly, and you can feel it thinking. Fill it through the valve with water, screw the cap shut, and you're holding something no fixed weight can be – the load slides to whichever side you're moving, so your stabilizers wake up on every twist, press and squat. Press it overhead and it leans. Pass it hip to hip and it pulls. That constant small argument is what builds the core nobody does crunches for, and when the session ends you drain it, deflate the 38 cm sphere and slide it into a drawer or a gym bag. Two padded handles mean it works as a two-hand slam-style ball, a catch partner or the weirdly satisfying thing you rotate while watching a match. Heavy when you want it, weightless when you don't.

1. Open the valve, fill with water to about two-thirds for a medium load, more for heavy.
2. Press the air out and close the cap until it clicks fully.
3. Two-hand work: presses, twists, front squats, slams-to-hip passes.
4. Solo catch or partner tosses – the handles make it griable.
5. After use, drain, dry the inside and store loosely closed so it can't smell up.

Size: Ø 38 cm | Empty weight: 720 g | Fill: water (adjustable) | Handles: 2 × grip handles | Valve: screw cap

Transparent, thickened eco-PVC. Included in the box: 1 × training ball (shipped empty, without liquid)

Rinse inside with fresh water after use and air dry open – salt water or left-in water will cloud and smell up the PVC. Keep away from rough concrete and sharp edges; store cool and out of direct sun.

Whatever you make it – water fills at roughly a kilo per litre, so the ball runs from a light rehab weight up to a genuinely heavy carry. Fill to two-thirds and work up.

No – sand abrades the valve and the inner wall and turns it into dead weight again. Water only, that's the whole idea.

It survives controlled slams on mats or grass, but this isn't a rubber slam ball – concrete and repeated hard impacts will shorten its life.

The PVC is built for full-body loads, but respect the fill line – overfilling plus a hot car is how any pressurized sphere complains. Two-thirds is plenty for most training.
